Project Description
This project focuses on the development of innovative NetMIX-based prototypes for the continuous production of synthetic fuels through Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and CO₂ methanation using a catalytic biphasic system. The key objectives include:
•Developing Novel Catalysts and Immobilization Strategies for Fischer-Tropsch reactions.
•Testing Biphasic Catalytic Systems for methane production using ionic liquids.
•Designing and Validating Innovative Prototypes for synthetic fuel and methane production based on NetMIX technology.
Main Outcomes
•Developed Novel Catalysts and Catalytic Films for enhanced performance in Fischer-Tropsch and CO₂ methanation reactions.
•Conducted Catalytic Screening in a commercial fixed-bed reactor and performed catalytic tests using NetMIX-based prototypes.
•Designed and Developed Multiple NetMIX-Based Prototype Units for the production of methane and synthetic fuels via Fischer-Tropsch synthesis.
•Carried Out Comprehensive Assessments, including techno-economic, environmental, and safety evaluations across five different industrial use cases.
•Significant Academic Contributions, including 7 master’s theses and 24 scientific publications, presented at both international and national conferences.
