On December 19th, Fernanda Vieira represented CoLAB NET4CO2 at the ARCP CoLAB Day, showcasing our latest advancements in CO₂-based chemicals for CO₂ valorization.
During the event, NET4CO2 highlighted its recent breakthroughs in the development of cyclic carbonates, a promising and more sustainable alternative to epoxides, which are widely used but known for their high toxicity. These innovative carbonates offer safer, environmentally friendly solutions for applications in polymers, coatings, and solvents, contributing to the advancement of green chemistry and circular carbon economy.
